Dust off your cowboy boots, tip your hat, and get ready to be swept away into the ultimate outdoor celebration of country music and culture—right here in the heart of South London. This July, Country on the Common lands in Tooting for its debut year, bringing two unforgettable summer days packed with country charm, chart-topping artists, and good old-fashioned fun for all ages.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Tooting Common and forming part of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture celebrations, this new festival promises to deliver a slice of Nashville with a distinctly London twist.

On Saturday, the stage will shine with the best of British country, headlined by UK chart-toppers The Shires, joined by sister duo Ward Thomas, and rising stars First Time Flyers, whose harmonies and energy are quickly earning them a devoted fanbase. Then on Sunday, prepare for something special as Schitt’s Creek actor and singer-songwriter Noah Reid brings his soulful blend of folk and country to South London for his UK festival debut. Supporting him are fan favourites Remember Monday and powerhouse performer Kezia Gill, both known for their raw vocals and electrifying live sets. Also on the line-up are the fantastic One Night in Nashville, Toby Lee, The Folly Brothers, Matt Hodges, Kyla Brox and tributes to Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain and The Johnny Cash Roadshow.

But Country on the Common is much more than just a music festival—it’s a full-blown celebration of country culture. Whether you're kicking up dust in a line-dancing session with the fabulous Country Roses, testing your aim at axe throwing, mastering the art of the lasso, or riding the rodeo bull, there’s something for every kind of cowboy and cowgirl. DJ Chris Armstrong will keep the party going between sets, and for those looking to indulge, expect mouth-watering Tex-Mex and BBQ cuisine, whiskey tastings, craft beer, and late-night campfire sessions under the stars.
