If there’s one thing First Time Flyers do well—aside from four-part harmonies and feel-good, infectious hooks —it’s not taking themselves too seriously. Nikki caught up with the incredibly fun country-pop quartet backstage at Country on the Common to chat about their hilarious TikTok campaign to get featured on Love Island, Jake’s questionable rhythm (sorry Jake!), and the journey toward their long-awaited debut album, Bound to Break (out September 12th). Oh, and somewhere along the way, we may have decided they’re basically country music’s answer to the Avengers —costumes pending.
